1. Editorial Guidelines
By registering on and using the PlayGeet Platform, you agree that you will not upload, submit, promote, or distribute any Content that violates the standards set out in this Policy. PlayGeet reserves the right to reject, remove, or take down any Content that breaches these guidelines at any time, without prior notice and without liability.
You agree that your Content shall not, directly or indirectly:
1.1 Infringe or violate any applicable law, rule, or regulation, or the rights of any third party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, copyright, trademark, patent, privacy rights, or rights of publicity.
1.2 Harass, victimize, degrade, threaten, or intimidate any individual or group of individuals on the basis of gender, religion, political opinion, sexual orientation, race, caste, ethnicity, nationality, age, or disability.
1.3 Violate any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation including those governing consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination, false advertising, or Internet-based commercial activity.
1.4 Promote, offer, or distribute fraudulent goods, services, schemes, or promotions of any kind, including but not limited to get-rich-quick schemes, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or predatory lending practices.
1.5 Be associated with or promote any form of gambling, sports betting, fantasy gaming for money, lottery, bingo, or similar chance-based services.
1.6 Contain or promote adult, sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic material of any kind, including but not limited to material designed to sexually arouse the viewer or reader, material requiring age verification to access, escort or adult entertainment services, or links to adult websites.
1.7 Be associated with the sale, promotion, or distribution of:
- (a) Any controlled substance requiring a prescription from a licensed medical practitioner;
- (b) Any over-the-counter pharmaceutical drug or medication;
- (c) Any non-prescription drug, supplement claiming drug-like effects, or substance of abuse.
1.8 Be associated with illegal telecommunications equipment, cable television circumvention devices, signal descramblers, access card programmers, or any similar technology designed to unlawfully access paid services.
1.9 Promote, glorify, or be associated with weapons of any kind, including firearms, firearm components, ammunition, BB guns, pellet guns, tear gas, stun guns, switchblade knives, or martial arts weapons.
1.10 Exploit, endanger, or take advantage of minors in any manner, including exploiting their inexperience, credulity, or the trust they place in parents, teachers, or authority figures.
1.11 Place or depict minors in dangerous, harmful, or irresponsible situations.
1.12 Spread misinformation, false claims, or unverified content related to any ongoing or declared public health emergency, epidemic, pandemic, or similar health crisis.
1.13 Market, promote, or glorify:
- (a) Nicotine, tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, nicotine-imitation products, or any symbols or imagery associated with smoking or nicotine consumption;
- (b) Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, drug-related symbols, or content that encourages or normalizes the use of controlled substances.
1.14 Promote, incite, or glorify violence, terrorism, extremism, or any activity that threatens public safety or national security.
1.15 Contain defamatory, libelous, or malicious content targeting any identifiable individual, organization, or community.
1.16 Impersonate any person, artist, band, label, organization, or entity in a manner that is misleading or deceptive to consumers or Distribution Channels.
1.17 Upload, distribute, or submit Content that is wholly or substantially generated by artificial intelligence tools, systems, or software without adequate human creative authorship, including but not limited to:
- (a) AI-generated music, melodies, vocals, or sound recordings produced without original human performance or creative contribution;
- (b) Content submitted in bulk using AI generation tools for the purpose of artificially generating streaming revenue or gaming platform algorithms;
- (c) AI-generated Content that mimics, replicates, or imitates the voice, style, likeness, or sound of any real artist, performer, or public figure without their express written consent.
2. Audio File Specifications
All audio files submitted to the PlayGeet Platform must comply with the following technical requirements. Content that does not meet these specifications may be rejected without refund.
2.1 PlayGeet currently accepts audio files at a minimum of 44.1kHz / 16-bit stereo quality or higher.
2.2 The following file formats are not accepted under any circumstances:
- MP3
- M4A
2.3 All audio submissions must be in one of the following accepted formats: FLAC, WAV, DSF, or DFF, meeting the specifications listed below.
2.4 Accepted FLAC or WAV specifications:
- DXD 352.8 kHz / 24 bits
- HD Audio 192 kHz / 32 bits
- HD Audio 192 kHz / 24 bits
- HD Audio 176.4 kHz / 32 bits
- HD Audio 176.4 kHz / 24 bits
- HD Audio 96 kHz / 32 bits
- HD Audio 96 kHz / 24 bits
- HD Audio 88.2 kHz / 32 bits
- HD Audio 88.2 kHz / 24 bits
- HD Audio 48 kHz / 32 bits

2.5 Accepted DSF or DFF specifications:
- DSD64 — 2822.4 kHz / 1 bit
- DSD128 — 5644.8 kHz / 1 bit
- DSD256 — 11289.6 kHz / 1 bit
2.6 Before submitting your audio files, you must remove all embedded metadata from the files. Embedded metadata can cause upload errors and processing failures. All metadata including track titles, artist names, ISRC codes, and release information must be entered manually in the fields provided on the PlayGeet Platform. Distribution partners do not read or process metadata embedded directly in audio files.
2.7 The following audio file types are not supported by PlayGeet and will be automatically rejected:
- Floating-point WAV files (only fixed-point WAV files are accepted)
- FLAC files containing embedded MPEG streams
2.8 If you attempt to upload a file at a bit rate or in a format outside of what the PlayGeet system accepts, the Platform will notify you at the point of submission. It is your responsibility to correct and resubmit compliant files.
3. Cover Artwork Specifications
All release cover artwork submitted to the PlayGeet Platform must meet the following specifications. PlayGeet's Distribution Channel partners maintain strict artwork requirements and non-compliant artwork will result in your release being delayed or rejected.
3.1 Your cover artwork must meet all of the following technical requirements:
- Minimum dimensions: 3000 x 3000 pixels (must be a perfect square)
- Maximum dimensions: 6000 x 6000 pixels
- Minimum resolution: 72 dpi (300 dpi recommended for best quality)
- Color mode: RGB only (CMYK color mode will not display correctly on digital platforms)
- File format: JPEG only
- Thumbnails, PNG files, or images below the minimum size requirement will not be accepted
3.2 Your cover artwork must be original and specific to the release being submitted. The same artwork image may be reused across releases only where it does not misrepresent the nature of the release.
3.3 Your cover artwork must not contain or display any of the following:
3.3.1 Time-Sensitive Language— Artwork must not include any time-based references such as "New Release," "Out Now," "Exclusive," "Available from [date]," or any similar language tied to a release window.
3.3.2 Barcodes or QR Codes — Artwork must not include UPC barcodes, QR codes, or any scannable codes of any kind.
3.3.3 Poor Image Quality — Artwork that is blurry, pixelated, misaligned, incorrectly rotated, mismatched to the release, or otherwise of unacceptable visual quality will be rejected.
3.3.4 Platform or Website References — Artwork must not display URLs, website addresses, logos, or references to any Digital Service Provider, streaming platform, download store, or any external website.
3.3.5 Exclusivity Labeling— Artwork must not use the word "Exclusive" or any equivalent term in any language.
3.3.6 Physical Format References — Artwork must not reference physical product formats such as CDs, cassette tapes, vinyl records, or any physical retail packaging.
3.3.7 Digital Product References — Artwork must not describe or label the release as a digital product.
3.3.8 Pricing Information— Artwork must not include any reference to pricing, including but not limited to "Reduced Price," "Low Price," "Available for ₹99," "Free," "For Promo Use Only," or "Available for Streaming/Download."
3.3.9 Pornographic Content — Artwork must not contain pornographic imagery or references to websites containing pornographic content.
3.3.10 Upselling — Artwork must not promote, advertise, or direct consumers to any other product, service, or release.
3.3.11 Misleading Depictions — Artwork must not prominently feature or reference an artist, performer, or public figure who does not actually perform on the release.
3.3.12 Phantom Content References— Artwork must not reference content that is not included in the release, such as "Includes DVD," "Bonus Tracks Included," or "Includes Lyrics Booklet."
3.3.13 Tribute Albums — For tribute releases, the name of the original artist must not appear as prominently as or more prominently than the name of the performing artist.
3.3.14 Cover Tracks — For cover song releases, artwork must not display the name of the original performer of the covered composition.
4. General Content Policy Provisions
4.1 PlayGeet reserves the right to update, amend, or expand this Content Policy at any time. You will be notified of material changes via your registered email address or a platform notification. Continued use of the PlayGeet Platform following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Content Policy.
4.2PlayGeet's approval or acceptance of any Content submitted by you does not constitute a warranty or representation by PlayGeet that such Content is legally compliant, free of third-party claims, or suitable for distribution. You remain solely responsible for ensuring the legality and appropriateness of all Content you submit.
4.3 Violation of any provision of this Content Policy may result in the rejection or removal of your Content, suspension or termination of your PlayGeet account, forfeiture of accrued earnings, and potential legal action, as further set out in the PlayGeet Digital Distribution Services Agreement.
4.4 PlayGeet does not assume any liability arising from Content submitted by you that is found to be in violation of this Policy, any applicable law, or the rights of any third party. All such liability rests solely with you.

4.6 This Content Policy forms part of and must be read in conjunction with the PlayGeet Digital Distribution Services Agreement and the PlayGeet Terms of Service. It applies to all Users of the PlayGeet Platform regardless of subscription tier.
