How to Takedown Your Music from Streaming Platforms

If you no longer want your music available on streaming platforms, you can request a takedown through your PlayGeet account.

Step 1: Sign in to Your PlayGeet Account

Log in to your PlayGeet dashboard.

Step 2: Go to My Releases

Open the My Releases section and select the release you want to remove.

Step 3: Request a Takedown

Click Request Takedown and confirm your request.

Step 4: Review Process

Our team will review your request before sending the takedown to the selected streaming platforms.

Step 5: Platform Removal

Once approved, your release will be removed from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and other selected platforms.

Please note that each streaming platform processes takedown requests independently.

How Long Does a Takedown Take?

Most takedown requests are processed within 7-14 business days, but some platforms may take longer to remove your release.

Important Notes

• Takedowns cannot always be reversed once submitted.

• Your release may remain visible on some platforms until they complete processing.

• Royalties earned before the takedown will continue to be processed according to PlayGeet's payout schedule.
