Every release submitted through PlayGeet goes through a review process before it is delivered to streaming platforms. This helps ensure your release meets PlayGeet's policies and the requirements of digital streaming services (DSPs).

The approval process consists of four stages.

1. Copyright Detection

First, your audio is scanned using copyright detection technology.

This helps identify whether your audio matches existing copyrighted recordings or contains unauthorized content.

If a potential copyright match is detected, your release may be flagged for further review.

2. AI Content Detection

After the copyright check, your release is analyzed for AI-generated content.

This review helps determine whether your release complies with PlayGeet's AI Music Policy and the requirements of supported streaming platforms.

If AI-generated content is detected, additional review may be required before approval.

3. Metadata Validation

Next, PlayGeet validates the information submitted with your release.

This includes checking:

• Release title

• Track titles

• Artist names

• Featured artists

• Genre and language

• Cover artwork

• Explicit content settings

• ISRC and UPC (if provided)

• Release date

• Required metadata fields

If any information is missing or doesn't meet platform requirements, you'll be asked to update it before your release can continue.

4. Manual Review

Finally, every release is reviewed by the PlayGeet team.

During this review, we verify that your release complies with our distribution policies and the requirements of streaming platforms.

Our team may review:

• Audio quality

• Cover artwork

• Metadata accuracy

• Copyright ownership

• AI disclosure

• Overall compliance with platform guidelines

If everything meets the requirements, your release is approved and prepared for delivery.

What Happens After Approval?

Once your release is approved:

1. Your release is queued for delivery.

2. PlayGeet sends your release to your selected streaming platforms.

3. Each platform processes the release independently.

4. Your music becomes available according to each platform's processing timeline.

If Your Release Requires Changes

If an issue is found during review, your release may be returned for updates.
